the radical idea that all bodies are valuable and deserve to have healthy fun

Twistar

Imagine your body covered in a rainbow of twister dots. Red dots on your arms. Green dots on your legs. A blue dot on the end of your nose. You can put the dots in any order or configuration you want, because it’s your body. Now flick the spinner and see what you get. Your right hand goes where? Your left foot’s supposed to do what? Its silly and hopefully you stretched first. But deciding your body is fun, instead of all the other alternatives is a powerful choice. The world becomes a game board and that Monopoly shoe or maybe the racecar. Being active becomes more about exploring what you can do, playing with all your physical options and having fun. Simon says you should pretend to be a hula dancer. Simon says play air guitar to your favorite power ballad. Make your tongue do jumping jacks. Gotcha!
